The SailGP Canada Team

Joining the circuit at the beginning of Season 3, this is just the second season in which Canada has competed in the Sail Grand Prix, but the new team has quickly become a fan favourite.

The Canadian crew is headed by driver Phil Roberston and features home-grown Canadian talent Annie Haeger, Georgia Lewin-LaFrance, and Isabella Bertold as strategists, Billy Gooderhman as flight controller, and Tom Ramshaw, who serves as a grinder along with Dartmouth’s very own Tim Hornsby.

So far, the Canadian team has a single win under its belt, winning the 10th round of last year’s season in Christchurch. However, with the support of local fans, Robertson and the company look to add to their growing reputation as they take on some of the world’s best at the Rockwool Canada SailGP in Halifax with hopes of a podium finish in home waters.
