Magnetic World Music Festival 2025: General Information
Founded in 2022, the Magnetic World Music Festival was first held in Moncton before being moved to Halifax the following year. Attracting performers and attendees from around the world, the event quickly established itself as one of the top music festivals in Atlantic Canada.
This year is poised to be even bigger and better than ever, with a lineup of global megastars and rising performers set to take the stage over three days at the end of September, bringing with it a lively party atmosphere to downtown Halifax.

The festival kicks off on Friday evening at 5:00 pm and runs through Sunday night at 10:00 pm. Scheduled for the last weekend of September, the Magnetic World Music Festival celebrates the fall season in the right way, with world-class EDM, Hip Hop, and Pop/Hip Hop performances

The Magnetic World Music Festival 2025 is going to be held within the Garrison Grounds of downtown Halifax. The festival offers both single-day and weekend tickets for its General Admission, GA+, and VIP passes. All ticket packages provide access to the festival grounds for their validity date(s), including audience areas, public washrooms, bars, and food and beverage trucks.
Meanwhile, VIP passes provide the luxurious additions of exclusive food and beverages, private washrooms and bars, a prioritized entry process, and a private terrace area for premium viewing.

The Magnetic World Music Festival opens strong with an EDM-heavy lineup led by Dom Dolla. Supported by acts like Ayybo and VNSSA, Friday night promises high-energy beats to kick off the weekend in style, with Marta and Davo rounding out the evening.
Saturday, Sept 27th

Headliners: 21 Savage, SAINt JHN, Roy Woods, Killy, Nostalgix, Heads or Tails
Saturday shifts the spotlight to Hip Hop, with 21 Savage headlining alongside SAINt JHN. Canadian favorites Roy Woods and Killy join the lineup, while Nostalgix and Heads or Tails bring their own unique energy to the stage, making Saturday one of the most anticipated nights of the festival.
Sunday, Sept 28th

Headliners: The Kid Laroi, BigXthaPlug (Special Guest), Lavern, Dave Summer, DJ Big S, Statez Twinz
The final night of the Magnetic World Music Festival closes with a Pop and Hip Hop showcase. The Kid Laroi headlines Sunday, joined by BigXthaPlug as a special guest, alongside a diverse mix of performers including Lavern, Dave Summer, DJ Big S, and Statez Twinz. With its blend of international talent and rising stars, Sunday offers an unforgettable finale to the weekend.
