2026 Halifax Paranormal Symposium: General Information

Researchers, authors and investigators from Canada and the United States come together to discuss hauntings, parapsychological research and personal experiences of the unexplained. Hands-on sessions and a vendor marketplace give visitors ways to get involved between talks.

Event Dates and Schedule

  • Main symposium: Saturday, October 17–Sunday, October 18, 2026; opening remarks at 9 a.m. each day.
  • Optional Friday activities: October 16, including a workshop and brewery tour with ghost hunt.
  • Evening programming: separately ticketed activities throughout the weekend.

Location

The symposium is held at Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre, 15 Lakelands Boulevard, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The venue is outside downtown, so plan a drive, taxi or transit journey from Cameo for the daytime programme. Some evening activities take place at other locations.

Saturday’s programme combines research, personal accounts and interactive exercises. Scheduled speakers include:
